Aarushi Pant

Founder, President & Mentor

Aarushi is a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Aarushi is a passionate advocate for various social issues and the founder of spectrum, an online platform for the LGBTQ community that reports on LGBTQ issues and provides resources to queer youth. When not reading or writing, Aarushi loves listening to music, spending time with family and friends, meditating, or watching Netflix.

Vee Duong

Vee is a Southwest Houston native passionate about youth engagement, leadership development, and financial literacy. Professionally, Vee has spent time organizing in Houston’s civic engagement scene and is currently building a career in Learning & Development. Vee loves hanging out with family and friends, pets and plants, and spending time outdoors. Vee enjoys cooking and sharing meals with loved ones.

Victoria Garcia

Outreach Committee

Victoria grew up in Austin, Texas before she moved to San Antonio to attend UTSA. She’s been there ever since, and as a senior at UTSA she will be graduating in digital communications, and has been working full time at a digital marketing firm there! She hopes to inspire other girls to get into the growing technical careers and to put in the work it takes to be a successful young woman.

Daisy Delgado

Program Development Committee

Daisy is from Houston, TX. She is a senior at Kenyon College and is majoring in Neuroscience. She’s a first-gen, Latinx student working to become an MD. Daisy is passionate about mentoring, working with children, and giving back to her community in positive ways.

Jazzmine Garreans

Outreach Committee

Jazzmine is a Junior at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida. Jazzmine is mental health advocate and is passionate about making an impact on the world. When she isn’t studying, Jazzmine enjoys writing, listening to music and creating content.

Hunter Johnson

Program Development Committee

Hunter graduated from Michigan State University in 2020 with a bachelors of arts in criminal justice and psychology. Hunter has a strong background in social sciences, with a special interest in restorative justice and advocacy. Hunter hopes to one day create a safe place for youth through writing!
